Dee's Story...
Dashing, dapper, dreamy, delightful, dependable and delicious, what do these words all have in common? Me, Dee! I am a lovable, sensitive guy that enjoys hot tea and thoughtful talks after listening to my favorite NPR programming. Maybe together we can put on our argyle sweaters and take a brisk walk in the park on these chilly fall days. I will make anyone a wonderful companion since I am such a good listener and have a Masters Degree of Fine Arts with specialty in Snuggling (it is definitely an art, you know). I am great with other dogs (prefer ones my own size to play with) and perfect with people. Want to meet me? Fill out an application at and send it in. I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $180.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dee, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
