My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello my name is Wynnie and I’m the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet! I’m a very affectionate loving beagle who loves lots of attention and belly rubs. I’m about 9 and ½ years old, but you wouldn’t know it because I love to play and run around. My current family loves me very much but is looking for a new family that can give me the attention I need because they’re really busy with little ones that need their attention more than me. I can be a little stubborn like most beagles and have no problem voicing my opinions when I need to. I sometimes like to lick blankets or pillows, so it is best to have something like this for me to lie around on if I’m not in my crate. I have a brother who I like most of the time but he can be a bit of a pain from time to time because he doesn’t know when I want to stop playing. But, he’s alright for a little brother. We do have different moms and dads but have been together with our owner since we were young. At night I sleep in my crate but sometimes when you first put me to bed I might cry a bit over it, but I’ll eventually get off to sleep. It would be best to only have me in a home with other Beagles as I can get real territorial with other breeds. Overall, I’m a pretty laid back girl who likes her naps and cuddling up with a blanket. I’m good with kids and know how to be very gentle with them. I will be a great addition to any family that wants my attention.

Wynnie was an original rescue from Brew Beagles and when we adopted her in the summer of 2005 she was guessed to be about 15-18 months old. Wynnie is crate trained and potty trained. She has shown aggression towards other breeds in the past and I wouldn’t recommend bringing her into a home that has dogs other than beagles
