My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Did you see those beautiful baby blue eyes? Nomad's black and white coat and those ice-blue eyes deem him eye candy, for sure. Not only is Nomad striking to look at, he is one sweet boy.

Nomad got his name when he was found wandering on a mountain side in Arkansas - virtually hairless. That's right. This beautiful, sweet boy had almost no hair. It was close to impossible to guess his breed mix. He had a severe case of demodex mange that had been left untreated.

After 7 weeks of intense treatment, Nomad's hair has almost all come back and he is one beautiful boy. Nomad loves everyone...dogs, adults, children...he's just a sweet, happy dog. Our best guess is that he's about a year and a half old - past all of the puppy chewing stage.

He does have the energy you would expect from a young dog...LOVES to run and play. Watching him run is magnificent. He has a beautiful gait.

He will benefit from obedience class - and will excel. He is so eager to please.

If you think you might be the right family for Nomad, email debandronb@earthlink.net for an application. This is the first step in the adoption process. Nomad's adoption fee is $375.00, which includes the transport fee.
