Ranger's Story...
Ranger was found in August scooting across a busy highway with a broken leg. Luckily he was found right after being hit and was able to be saved. He has had surgery to repair the break and is almost completely healed. He is available for pre-adoption and will be ready to go to his new home soon. He loves being a companion and will follow his foster mom wherever she goes. He is wonderful with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He is completely potty trained, neutered and up to date on his shots.

Please call his foster home at 573-765-3387 or send an email to jenzme@ymail.com for further information or to set up a visit with him.

A minimum adoption donation of $100 is asked to help with his vet costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Crocker Gordon Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Gordon Setter for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Gordon Setter dog from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Gordon Setter breeders who help with Gordon Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
