Tia's Story...
IDGSR WELCOMES TIARA AKA TIA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!

Hi my name is Tia and I am ALL puppy! I found myself in this scary place called a shelter. All of these other dogs were barking all the time and I just wanted to be in the arms of someone who would love me. This really really nice lady named Leann came and got me out, thank God. She drove me 4 hrs. to my rescue mom who welcomed me into her home.
Rescue mom says I am now safe and that she will find me a great new mommy and daddy to love me. I am so full of life and energy and I need someone who will be patient with me with all my puppy love.My favorite thing to do is give you kisses.
Rescue Mom: Tia is approx. 10-12 weeks old, approx. 13-15 lbs. and full of herself, she is so full of love and wriggles her body in absolute joy. She is being crate trained but certainly not housebroken yet, working on that. Tia is a German Shepherd and possible border collie mix? white paws? not sure but she is going to have the most unique color patterns of black, white and silver and that unique bull head face on her chest is remarkable. I guess Tia will be taking life by the horns.
Potential adult size can be upwards of 50-60lbs.

Tia still has all her baby teeth. If you would like to adopt this baby please fill out an application with the rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tia, a Greeneville German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
