My name is Lindy. My foster Mom tells me I am a gorgeous long haired kitty with a plume of a tail. I am shy. I had been living with a man who collected cats but didn't give us alot of attention. I was very scared in that situation and when I first came to my foster home, I would slink close to the floor and drag my tail. I still don't like to be picked up, but I am learning to adjust to this bright new place and I now walk proudly and hold my head and tail high in the air! I know I still have some adapting to do, but my foster mom said she knows I have alot of promise. I love to lie in a sunny window and watch the outside world. I was used to being in a dark dingy place with many other cats and that scared me. But, those days are far behind me and I love this new life with plenty of food, sunlight and a human who interacts with me frequently. I am still a bit hesitant and spook easily, but I also want to overcome my fears.
I am about 2 years old and I am spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and Felv/FIV negative. I live with my best friend, Lucy, who also lived with me at that not-so-good place. I tend to follow Lucy's lead and am hoping to be like her someday. She is courageous and outgoing and I know I can be too, as long as you have some patience and a love and understanding of kitties. Lucy helaps me to cope with my fears, so it would be great if we could be adopted together.
Please contact my foster mom, Debbie at (610) 261-3792 if you would like to hear more about me or meet me.

FURR is a 100% volunteer organization. Every penny donated goes to paying our vet bills, caring for our cats living at Petco and TNR. Our adoptions fees don't come close to paying the bills. Please help us save more lives. FURR is a 501(c)3 organization so donations are tax deductible.
It is now kitten season and we are in dire need for more foster homes. Please contact us if you can foster a litter of kittens, bottlebabies or a mom with kittens. FURR pays for all vet care at our partner vets, and experienced foster parents are available to help the newbies through the joys of raising kittens. Fostering is fun, wonderful and saves lives.
