Porkchop's Story...
HI, my name is Porkchop, I got this name because of my size. I'm just a little round with short legs. You may ask how did I get on this adoption site? Well I decided to follow a school bus one day to see what was at the next stop and found myself wondering the streets. A nice young girl came and talked with me so I followed her home. He momsaid she would help me get back to my home but no one claimed me. I am happy here with the little girl but they say I need a home that I can stay in forever. I like to watch tv laying across my humans lap. Of course with such short legs I need help getting on the couch, Ican't jump very high....I am 3 years old, very quite and have good bathroom habits. I would love to sit across your lap all day if you would let me. Could I??(SH) Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Porkchop, a Allentown Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
