I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
JoJo was abandoned by his owner at a house out in the country. He was faithful and never left, waiting for his person to return. JoJo LOVES to play ball and will fetch and bring the ball back, drop it at your feet and wait for you to throw it again. He will do this until your arm falls off. JoJo is about 2 1/2 years old. he gets along with other dogs but do not know about cats. he is scared to death of a leash so I think a farm setting or large fenced yard would be best for him..
Bright Futures Pet Adoption & Rescue, Inc. is a NO-KILL, Non-Profit, all volunteer rescue group. We take in animals in need of re-homing for what ever reason. All animals are checked over by a veterinarian and treated for any medical condition that may arise. All of our pets are placed in foster homes so that they can be house trained and we can get to know their true personalities. We will know whether they get along with other dogs and cats, what bad habits there might be and if they are kid friendly. Of course we do our best to try and correct any problems before sending them to their new forever homes. We strive to find the right match for both the pet and the family. Sometimes things just don't work out and of course we will take the animal back, always.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Because all of our pets are in foster homes it is always best to call and set up an appointment to come and meet your potential new family member. You are always welcome and encouraged to bring your family and any other pets you have along to make sure everyone gets along.
Our Adoption Process...
In order to adopt an animal from Bright Futures Pet Adoption & Rescue, Inc. you first must me 19 years of age. We have an application that will need to be completed and approved. Once the application is approved and a match is made there is an adoption contract that must be agreed to and signed. The adoption fees for each animal will vary according to the type of pet and any veterinary expenses that may have been incurred above and beyond the normal spay/neuter and vaccination expense.
