FRIDA's Story...
Hi my name is Frida! I am a 6 week old female Bernese Mountain Dog mix. HNH rescued me along with my litter mates from a High Kill Shelter on our last day. I am not ready for my forever home yet, but they are taking applications for me at this time. Frida will be available for adoption after Thanksgiving beginning of December, she will be spayed and microchipped prior to being adopted. She will be a large dog and best suited with an active family with a large yard. We do recommend that when adopting a young pup to enroll them in puppy training classes so that they can be the adult dog you want. Contact Lorna at Lorna@hopenheroes.com for an application. Donation/Adoption Fee and Home inspection required.

About Our Rescue Group...
Hope n' Heroes started as an organization to help network the animals in need, through this process we started pulling dogs to safety one or two at a time, vetting them and finding them there forever homes. Due to the demand of dogs ending up in High Kill Shelters we have expanded, we have a great group of fosters, volunteers and vet's that work with us. We started doing adoption events this year and fundraisers we are looking forward to continuing our growing process. Our 501c3 paperwork is being finalized and will be submitted for approval soon.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process begins with a phone interview followed by an application. After the application is received back ground checks are performed calling vet that is listed on the application and references. Once application is approved we than schedule a meet and greet, after the meet and greet is done a home inspection is required. Once the final home inspection is passed we than have an adoption contract that is completed. We do not do out of state adoptions.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Hope n' Heroes is a dog rescue that saves animals from High Kill Sheltes as well as assisting people that find themselves in a bad situation and can no longer care or have there pet. We rely on fosters to care for our animals before they go to there forever homes. We serve the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern and Coachella Counties.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FRIDA, a Torrance Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
