I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.
I am a male black and white pit bull mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old.
Rico is such a sweet boy. He gives tiny kisses and is loving to everybody he meets. He is great on a leash and loves to go for walks and to the park where he can run.
He is very obedient and loves to learn new things. He has very good house manners if you are firm with him. He loves his crate/bed.
Rico is a very loyal guy and needs a person who will be his best friend,although is is wonderful with the entire family!

We are a small, individual, private rescue group dedicated to giving unwanted dogs and cats a second chance. Most of the animals we rescue are strays and or owner surrenders to high kill city shelters. Many of them have been pulled off “death row”. We are very passionate about what we do, we love and care for these animals unconditionally. Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before.
Adoption process includes adoption application, phone interview and home visit. Vet references are checked!
We do not have a physical shelter, we place our rescues in foster homes or boarding facilities where they are socialized and nurtured back to health before we place them in their forever home. If you are interested in adopting a friend, kindly look at our available pet on this site.

Home visit is required along with Vet references. Our full list of fees have been listed on the adoption application. Our dogs come fully vetted and have to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Our rescue has a network of volunteers that cover most of NY and the tri-state area. We rescue dogs and cats from "Death Row" at the local shelters and provide them with a Second Chance in life.
