THOMAS's Story...
Hi my name is Thomas! I am a 6 week old Black Lab mix. HNH rescued my brother and me for underneath a dumpster at a High School in San Bernardino. We are every so grateful for them saving us as we were flea infested and probably would have not made it in this condition for much longer. I am healthy know, love to play with other dogs, chew toys, eating and sleeping. I am not ready for adoption yet they told me after Thanksgiving I will be. Thomas is a young pup who will be neutered and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Currently being fostered in Simi Valley, CA. We recommend that any new puppy owners enroll in puppy training classes so that the pup will become the adult dog they want. Contact Lorna at Lorna@hopenheroes.com for an application. Adoption/Donation fee and home inspection required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

THOMAS, a Torrance Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
