Watson's Story...
Hi, my name is Watson. My sister, Paisley and I were rescued from a yard in Manalapan the morning of Hurricane Sandy and it is a good thing. We are only five months old and would not have known what to do during the storm. I am white with handsome gold markings. I am told that I am very sweet although a bit shy. We have both enjoyed living inside, getting to know people, and playing with toys. Toys are so much fun!!! And we already know how to use the litter box. Although we would love to stay here, these nice people have four cats already. Watson and I would like to be adopted together, if possible, by a loving family where we could have a forever home!!! We know that if we stay together we will keep each other company and not be too much trouble since we can play together. Please contact us if you would like to have two cute kittens bring some happiness to your world!!!

I am neutered and up to date on my vaccines.

Please contact us at rayofhoperescue@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting him.

He will be at the Petco adoption center, located on Rt 1 South, in Edison this Saturday and Sunday from 11-4.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Watson, a East Brunswick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in East Brunswick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in East Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
