Mustache-LOCAL's Story...
Meet Mustache, he is currently in GA with his foster mom, Tina. He appears to be a yellow lab mix, but he looks like many other breeds also, possibly some hound or shepherd or all of the above. He's about 5 months old and only 26lbs so should only be a medium sized boy (approx 50-60lbs we think). He was found wandering on a busy road and never claimed. He is GREAT with kids and other dogs, most likely cats also given he's young enough to be trained with them. He will make the perfect family dog and is already almost 100% potty trained and is crate trained. He is up to date on all his shots, heart worm negative and neutered. Awesome young guy who needs a home in New England ASAP, apply today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mustache-LOCAL, a Southern Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Southern, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Southern.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southern already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southern breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southern paves the way for another one to be saved.
