Confetti's Story...

Confetti is a beautiful lab/spaniel mix. She is about 2 years old, housebroken and great with kids.

This group of 8 puppies came to us from Missouri where they have been in a shelter since they were only a couple of months old. We were initially told that Confetti was one of the pups but it appears that she is actually the mother of the pups. We have no idea on their breed, but some look like yellow labs, while others look like collie or spaniel mixes. They all have great personalities, though and are eager to be socialized.

About Tails of Hope

About Our Rescue Group...

We won't take this space to preach, but put simply we're just trying to put a dent in it and save just one more. I'm not exaggerating when I say that we get over a hundred requests a week asking us to help with at capacity kill shelters. Every week they have to put down both dogs and puppies to make room for the new ones that are being surrendered and abandoned. For every dog that we take, we save two - the one we rescued, and one more for making that space available for another week. That's one more week of hope that another rescue can take them or an adopter can adopt them. If you have room in your heart and your home to foster, please consider sharing that gift with us. You would be amazed how many puppies you could save in just one months time, it's a true gift to the animal community.

Tails of Hope Animal Rescue does not have a physical shelter. We don't have the funds or staff to support such a large endeavor. Instead we are a network of loving foster parents that care for our puppies and dogs through the week and meet at the Colerain Petsmart on Saturday and some Sundays to view our animals. We work hard all week long to approve as many adoptions as we can, so that our available pets can go to their forever homes during our viewing hours. We also try to make ourselves available through the week to meet approved applications if that is their preference and they're available to meet us.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We schedule private viewings and set up at the Petsmart on Colerain Avenue in Cincinnati on Saturdays and some Sundays.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with completing an application, and potential owners will be interviewed & evaluated, before approval is given.

Tails of Hope Animal Rescue reserves the right to approve or deny any application to adopt a pet from our organization. We do not adopt pets for resale or medical research.

Our adoption fee is $75.00 + a 75.00 spay/neuter deposit for puppies, which includes vaccines, deworming, and general care that Tails of Hope has already provided for the pet. Adult adoption fees range from $75 - $150 which is determined by the time that they have been in rescue, we don't want an adoption fee to come between the chance of an adult being able to enjoy a life at a new home. All adults and older puppies will be altered before leaving and up to date on vaccines, HW Preventative and Flea Preventative. We use the services of a low-cost clinic to keep vet expenses down, and to make adoption affordable.
