Polar's Story...
Polar-JRT mix male puppy

Polar and his brothers were left at a high kill rural shelter in the beginning of Oct. Thin and scared, it was cold there, no mommy to snuggle with. The Rescuers knew the pups needed to get out fast, before they got ill. The Animal Control people said the pups came from a Jack Russell mom and no one knew who the daddy is. The puppies have done very well. Polar is fun loving and energetic. With his breeding, one can expect he will be that way his whole life.
Polar's adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polar, a Germantown Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
