Zeke's Story...
Come and meet beautiful Zeke!
You can tell by his pictures that Zeke appreciates the good life! Although Zeke had to make it on his own for a while as an outdoor cat when his owners moved, he sure has welcomed the comforts of indoor life again! Zeke had been hanging around a person's house for over a month, but the person was not able give Zeke a home, so he was turned in to the Hazel Park shelter. We could tell he had spent some time on the streets and on his own but that has not hardened him one bit! He loves fluffy blankets, being petted and a warm lap to sit on! He has a gorgeous coat now and beautiful green eyes. We believe he is between 2-4 years old. Please consider welcoming him into your family and giving him the good life that he deserves! He will make himself comfortable and quite at home and be so appreciative!
Adoption fee: $125 (or 2 cats for $175) includes feluk/fiv combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter, & microchip!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeke, a Warren Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warren, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
