B.B.'s Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

B.B. is a lovely little young lady with beautiful leopard and tiger markings on soft grey. She is a domestic short hair and is approximately 1 year old. Her past has not been easy. She was left outside in a local bank's parking lot. Alone, scared and hungry in a strange place is not easy for a little kitty. Thank goodness there are bank employees who care about little homeless ones, for one of them took her home. Her new foster mom calls her B.B. (Best Baby) and she really loves to be held like a baby. She becomes so relaxed that she can fall asleep being held this way. She is curious, likes to play and sneak a peek from under the bed. If you are looking for a little snuggle bug to love, then B.B. will be the best bank transfer you will ever make.  If you are interested in adopting B.B., please go to and complete an online adoption application.  If you have any questions, feel free to email us at or call us at 1-855-745-2738.

Also, please note that Diamonds in the Ruff is located in Eastern Kentucky with all of our animals in volunteer foster homes.  We do provide transport to areas outside of Eastern Kentucky.

About Diamonds In The Ruff - Washington D.C. Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a not for profit organization consisting of a group of dedicated volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs and cats that are in danger of euthanasia. Rual Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia shelters have a constant overflow of healthy adoptable dogs and cats, with little funding and limited space. Once the dog or cat arrives at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these animals, and adopt them out to loving families in the New England area. We do not limit ourselves to any particular breed, as we believe all shelter animals deserve a second chance. We are NOT professionals trainers or animal behaviorists: simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs and cats from euthanasia.

Our Adoption Process...

Our dogs and cats are fostered in Eastern Kentucky in one of our many experienced foster homes. We have may dogs and cats looking for a loving new home. All of our dogs receive rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo vaccine, bordatella and spay/neuter and are on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. All of our cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia, have received a feline combination vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordatella, spay/neuter and flea control. All of our dogs and cats come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee covers their age appropriate vetting, heartworm/flea preventative, as well as their transportation to your area. The adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $450.00. The adoption fee for cats and kittens is $300.00.

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs and cats are brought up to their new owners weekly! Our transport service is certified throught the USDA. We can provide additional photos as well as the contact information to the foster home they are living in. We strive to get good matches for our pets, so that everyone has a long and happy life together!
