Perfect Pal Pirate's Story...
Pirate was dumped with a couple of medical issues at a local veterinarian's office. He has had surgery to repair his problems and is ready for adoption. He had a punctured left eye and hernia, but is rubbing all over anyone that pays him any attention. He tested negative for FeLV/FIV and was neutered . There is no way to be sure, but he seems 2-3 years old. He is a small cat (7.5 pounds).
Call Susanne at 480-694-9998 if you wish to meet Pirate and consider giving him a forever home!
Pictures soon ... but they won't do him justice. Such a lovebug!
He has attended his first adoption event and didn't seem concerned about the nearby dogs. He is still being held away from the other cats, but doesn't seem at all concerned about them. He's a wonderful cat!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Perfect Pal Pirate, a Scottsdale Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
