Kaleb's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kaleb's Story...
First let me apologize that the photos aren't better, the animal control officer, like me, is no photographer. I will do my best to get better photographs up quickly.

Kaleb is the most wonderful Abyssinian mix with a rich, tawny and black ticked coat. His eyes are the deep polished amber that look deep gold and he has a small star emblazoned high up on his chest. You know he is intelligent because he looks at you with those big eyes as we watch silly political debate excerpts and he implores you to turn off the laptop and go do something!

When I do get up to go do something, he carefully tags along, being sure to be my companion, seeing if there is anything he can do to help.

This cat was someone's pet as he responds to "kitty kitty" by coming immediately, romping up with an expectant expression, He understands the sound of a pop of a can of cat food and looks frantically around for his plate to be put down on the floor as soon as the aroma hits. He makes tender lap massages and wants to be up in your lap, and is an ultimate cat - would be an excellent family or individual cat and is fine with dogs or other cats. He is just under or a year of age and is set to be neutered on Monday.

He is so devoted and so happy to be out of the shelter. He loves to ride on your shoulder and is such an athlete. He has the best manners and I don't understand how someone would not be frantically looking for him - but he had been at the shelter for a while and his time was up. I didn't want him to be sent to the kill shelter with the horribly high kill rate, he is too great of a cat.

So let's get him fixed and into a loving, forever home. Is it yours?

Adopt him for $80, that covers FIV/FeLV testing, sterilization, vaccinations, microchipping, worming, and Advantage multi treatment.

Please note that Star Cats must never be declawed, live with an indoor smoker, or go outside unattended.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaleb, a Denton Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Denton, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Denton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denton paves the way for another one to be saved.
