Mia's Story...
Mia is a beautiful silver tabby girl and just about the sweetest cat there is. Mia came to New Beginnings, with her 6 babies, from a very high kill shelter. While she was in foster care, a litter of 6 babies was abandoned at 3 weeks old and Mia agreed to mother them. She was the most amazing mother of 12, and that is how she got the name Mama Mia. She is approximately2 years old and really is a wonderful girl and very deserving of a home of her own. Mia is up to date on her vaccinations, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is spayed.

If you are interested in setting up a meeting with Mia you can email her foster Maureen mdarvin56@gmail.com

Mia's adoption/donation fee is $75

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
New Beginnings Animal Rescue was established in 2011 in an effort to help reduce overcrowding in the local (Tennessee and Mississippi) shelters. We have begun working with a coordinator in New England and began transporting dogs for adoption to MA, RI, CT, VT and NH in August of 2012.
Our organization also aims to promote the importance of spay/neuter to the public. We are a non-profit group whose sole source of funding is donations from the public. We are all volunteers who foster animals in our homes and are always in need of more volunteers. There are so many abandoned, abused, discarded pets that need our help, and there is never enough space or money to help them all.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Olive Branch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Olive Branch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Olive Branch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olive Branch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olive Branch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olive Branch paves the way for another one to be saved.
