N8's Story...
N8 was Rescued from a Shelter in North Carolina. He was a Day away of being Gassed by the Gas Chamber when I received a email. Nate (N8) is a Wonderful Amazing Lovable Hound that wants to be a part of a Family more than anything. He has the # N 8 written on him so we decided to call him N8 (Nate) He is Not Neutered and since I am just starting my Rescue I'm hoping the new Adopters wont mind and get him Neutered. So Far I have had no problems with him and he's a great with other Dogs. I have a Cat Roaming around and he seems UN bothered by her. He walks great on a leash with his head down smelling everything around him. Unfortunately Nate is Deaf, and that of course makes it difficult to adopt. N8 is very Intelligent and listens by hand motions. We are working on that everyday!! He has his DHPP shot and Rabies!!! N8 had a over all health check but we ask of the new Adopters to make sure he will get checked by a vet again.

I was Unfairly treated at my last Job even tho I loved every minute of it and got to know so many animals lovers. When I was pushed out I got enough Fan base to follow me out and now with all my Friends we opened SecondBest Rescue.

Our Adoption Process...
We ask for anyone to fill out a Application with References. A signed Contract stating you will be a Responsible Owner and that we can take the Dog back at any time would we feel that you are not qualified to care for the Pet anymore. We Love each and every Animal that comes into our Rescue and we WILL make sure that our children will go to a wonderful Home.

For the Animals that come to us we like to think we are the Second Best, because the first best is a Home with a Family they can call there own. We are a rescue that dedicates to Dogs coming from places that were going to Gas them or euthanize.
