Mr Fluffy Head is a big, beautiful goofball. He’ll flop his fluffy self down just about anywhere to make sure his tubby tummy gets a rub. He’s a major purr machine – once you get him going it’s almost deafening. Some of his favourite activities are watching birds out the window, attacking his brother Precious, and monopolizing heat sources (e.g., your lap or heater).

Mr. Fluffy Head and Precious are full of fun and curiosity. They are happy around babies and children and have even taken a liking to our dog (who loves to kitten sit!). They play around much of the day and love to curl up together at night to sleep on their little pillow. These two will make wonderful pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Fluffy Head, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
