Ned's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Ned is one of a litter of four kittens that came to VOKRA at a young age of 2.5 weeks. The owner let the new mom out, and she never returned.

Ned is all personality! He is a bouncy, flouncy bundle of cuddles who always has a spring in his step and a twinkle in his eye. He is playful, energetic, curious and extremely affectionate. He loves belly rubs, being picked up and held, and any sort of manhandling. He shares his joy with delighted little squeaks and a very loud purr. Ned will charm you with his silliness and wide-eyed enthusiasm. He would be a warm, wonderful addition to any family.

Ned needs to be adopted with his sister Trinket. These two are very playful and energetic: they would love a home with a large scratching post, room to run, and a multitude of toys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ned, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
