Ozzy's Story...
Super-duper sweet and willing to please ..that's our good boy OZZY. Ozzy is a precious Terrier mix who is approximately 10 months old, and he's searching for a loving person or family to call his own. Ozzy is a little overwhelmed at the shelter, but he's gaining more confidence each day. Ozzy needs a kind person or family who understands his gentle nature, so he would do best in a home with older, considerate children. Ozzy is a happy guy, and he has lots of fun bounding around our play yard. He's learning how to walk on a leash, and he's getting better at it every day. Ozzy loves people, and he lives for tummy rubs! Please visit Ozzie at the El Cajon Animal Shelter in kennel #20, then ask our helpful staff if you can get to know him better in our lovely play yard. Ozzy will be watching for you and listening for your footsteps at his kennel gate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzy, a El Cajon Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
