Sookie's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Sookie loves to cuddle, especially in the morning. She gets along well with all her foster siblings and particularly enjoys running around the house playing tag and flinging toy mice all over the place. She is still getting used to being picked up but is constantly improving. Sookie is a very small cat and feels the need to compensate by always sleeping on her back, stretched out as long as she can, attempting to take up the whole bed. She may be small but she has a big personality and a really big heart. She just wants to be loved very much. Sookie would be best as a companion kitty as she is very social and playful.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sookie, a Vancouver Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
