My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is going to North Shore Animal League for adoption. If you are in the New York area, please go to North Shore on Long Island to adopt! 11.17.12
Brindle beauty & sweet pea extraordinaire, Pepper is a healthy little puppy with a spunky disposition. Her first home showed her no love, actually abuse was her lot in life before checking into Camp. Being as such, her temperament shows itself first as shy, but very warm once she is given a chance to get the love she desperately wants & needs. Pepper will pop-a-wheelie upon seeing us then she will sit for a treat. She loves her kong toys as well as anything that rolls, whether it's a ball, bad cuz, or toilet paper roll.

The mother is a yellow Shiba Inu/Chow Chow mix that is knee-high and weighs 45 lbs. The dad we think is the German Shepherd that lives down the street from the mother dog. Both have owners that allow them roam, hence this unplanned litter of puppies that we have rescued.
In the video, Pepper has the aqua/teal collar and is sitting on the box. She loves having a box to play with!

She has received her first and second rounds of vaccination and been de-wormed. Being 8 weeks old means she is too little for her spay, but it is pending for her at 12 weeks. We set up the spay appointment, pay for it, and get her to/from the appointment. Her rabies shot and third round vaccination will be done at that time. Her adoption fee is $90, there is a $50 refundable deposit (due to spay pending).

All Camp Chaos dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. There are no exceptions. Thank you for understanding. br>Please email CampChaos37206@gmail.com for an application. CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER FOR OUR REPLY WITH THE APPLICATION ATTACHED, PLEASE!
Adoption fee is $90. Thank you for wanting to share your home with one of our rescued pups! If you are a parent adopting for your children, please remember we do pick the best home for our pups. If there are 2 applications that come in at the same time, for example, and one will be a better fit, that is the one we choose. Many parents pump up their children about getting a specific puppy, and it can be very sad for the child if the particular puppy isn't a good fit unbeknownst to them. We put this disclaimer here because a couple of parents have been upset when a home that used doggy daycare & had a fenced in yard was chosen over crate-all-day without a backyard. Peace.
