Liam's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Liam's Story...
Hi my name is Liam... I am a German Shorthaired Pointer mixed breed with the softest fur you will ever feel! I'm a very sweet boy!
I am great with all other dogs, and very much enjoy my pack. I love having another playmate and it doesn't matter how old. I'll teach a young pup and make the older one get up and play, but I am not over the top high energy or hyper. I can chill whenever you want me to. I'm curious about the cats (but don't really want to get to them) and good with kids, if they don't rush me! I am already house and crate trained and LOVE to go for walks. We could hike or do TV time, either is good for me. I'll sleep on a dog bed at night by your bed and not move a step all night, but if invited, I'd rather be sleeping in the big bed. I can curl up the size of a kitten if it's crowded! I know several commands and I'm a quick learner and treat motivated, so together we can continue on this path to learn much more.
I love attention, belly rubs are the best and given the chance, I will find a lap to climb in!

Liam is the Easy Button. All the hard work is done!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liam, a Smithfield German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
