Hello! My name is Sugarplum

Sugarplum is a sweet young girl who came to us after she was thrown outside by her owner. Did her owner know that this would be a death sentence for most rabbits? Maybe not, but Sugarplum came VERY close to bunny heaven. Luckily, she hopped up to a nice lady who took her to the pound. Unfortunately, so many people do not want to adopt rabbits from the pound, especially not rabbits with red eyes, and sugarplum sat in a small cage at a large, noisy, scary shelter until, once again, it was time for her to make her way to bunny heaven. Thank goodness that a volunteer saw her there and contacted us - we were able to save her at the last minute! Whew! Sugar is a smart, gentle, and sweet girl who likes to be petted and is very friendly. She is learning to use her litter box and is currently recovering from a very tough spay surgery (she only had half of her girl-parts, which makes her even more unique!).
