Ethel's Story...
Ethel and Lucy (on the left) . They are totally wonderful dogs!! Very young – still have kind of a puppy coat, Good natured – love people, kids, other dogs (as long as they don’t come near their house) and get along with the neighbor’s cat, but that’s the only cat they’ve met. They also do well on a leash and are housebroken. Will jumped up and smothered you with kisses – no barking at the door. Both are very affectionate. They are this way with all people. They’re spayed(10/4/12), and up to date on shots and heartworm meds.

The beauty of a Great Pyrenees can take your breath away, but they are unique dogs which require dedicated owners who have thoroughly researched the traits of the breed. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ethel, a Lee Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Lee, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Lee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lee paves the way for another one to be saved.
