Gwen's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Tortoiseshell | Age: | Kitten |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Short |
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Gwen, a beautiful Tortie kitten, is very independent, loves to snuggle and clean her brothers. She is the only girl in a litter of 5. Having 4 brothers to show her the ropes, Gwen has become quite the little fierce hunter - seeking out her favorite toy mouse and destroying andy crinkly mylar balls that she finds in her path! Gwen's absolute favorite toy in the world though, is the Cat Dancer. Bring her a Cat Dancer and you are instantly Gwen’s best friend. Be sure to check out the video posted of Gwen and her brothers!
If you'd like to meet Gwen or any of her brothers please contact Cindy at 773.203.0215 / cindy@chicagocatrescue.org.

Rescue Group Info...
Chicago Cat Rescue is dedicated to helping animals in need and educating human companions. Chicago Cat Rescue is an all volunteer-run rescue group and we rely on compassionate individuals in our community to foster our rescued cats until they find their forever homes.
Chicago Cat Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
Chicago Cat Rescue is unique in the fact that all of our animals available for adoption are currently living in foster homes. Foster homes make a great scenario for you to meet & mingle with your potential furry friend(s). A casual, home-like setting brings out the best in our animals for adoption and helps you get a true sense of the personality and characteristics of the animal in consideration. All of our foster homes provide a flexible schedule to accommodate appointments with potential adopters
Our adoption fee is $80 per cat. All of our kitties have been combo-tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia, spayed or neutered, vaccinated for distemper, micro-chipped, and dewormed.
Our adoption process is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Call or email us to learn more about the cat you are interested in - we, of course, will have questions for you. Our conversations are a great way for us to get to know each other and ensure you will be a great match for the cat of interest (and that they will be a great match for you!).
2. We will set up a convenient time for you to meet the cat of interest. All of our cats are in foster homes in Chicago - so you will be meeting with the foster mom/dad, a representative from Chicago Cat Rescue, as well as the lucky cat(s)!
3. After the meeting, you will be asked to fill out an adoption application. A representative from Chicago Cat Rescue will process your application (usually within 2-3 business days), and if all goes well your new cat(s) will be ready to come home!
When you adopt from Chicago Cat Rescue, you not only gain the unconditional love of a cat(s), you also gain the perpetual support from a group of caring people who are committed to you and your new companion's health & happiness.
