Tundra is a gorgeous, very regal looking, gray (wolf-colored) 3-year-old male Siberian Husky who is either pure-bred or mixed with either Shepherd or Malamute. He was rescued from a shelter and joined our family at a very young age before we recently moved to California. Tundra is a well socialized dog who is good with other dogs of all sizes and also good with children.
Weighing roughly 80 pounds, Tundra eats twice a day (two cups of dry food with a spoonful of wet food each time). He is very playful (plays like a puppy), so if he is to be placed in a home with another dog, it would be best if he was paired with a dog who is playful as well.
Tundra is submissive boy who is very loving with people, and also rides well in the car. He does not like to be confined to small spaces (i.e., crates, small bedrooms, etc.). He is best placed in a home with a yard. He has never been around cats. Tundra is neutered and up-to-date on all of his shots (documentation can be provided). He is potty-trained and does not have accidents as long as proper potty opportunities are provided.
Tundra is being re-homed because our recent move brought us to a home that is on a very busy street by a very busy intersection. Since Tundra does not like loud traffic noises (i.e., semi-trucks, trash trucks, heavy traffic streets) this has become a source of ongoing stress and we feel that if Tundra can be placed in a home that is more normal and quiet that he will fare much better. Tundra is a handsome, very loving boy who is sweet and gentle. If you are interested in Tundra, please contact Stephanie 951-840-0693 or downs.steph@gmail.com.
