Painter - Adoption Pending's Story...
My name is Painter because I look like I might have had a run in with a paint brush. I am 2 months old. Here's a little about me. I was found by the pound wandering around looking for my family after I got lost. I was brought to the Maricopa County East Side Shelter. I waited patiently for my family to come find me and they never did. One day a nice lady came and picked me up and brought me to my foster home. My foster mom says I'm a cool puppy. She likes how smart I am and that I am house-broke (I will bark at the door to alert you of my need to be let out). I know to sit, wait and I can even lie down. Okay, I actually need some bribing to lie down but I will do it. I ride quietly in the car, I love kids, I really enjoy being outdoors and playing in a yard, I am crate trained too. My foster mom says I have something called “good recall”. I don't know what that is but she says I am good at it. I eat my meals side by side with my foster siblings with no issues. My foster siblings have been teaching me how to play tug of war with them and tag and it's really fun. I also like to play all by myself with my toys. Did I mention I have a sock fetish? I have short bursts of puppy excitement but my foster mom says I am actually a very mellow well-behaved boy. I have never seen a cat yet but I am young enough so that I could be taught to not torment a cat. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, cool guy I am your man. My foster mom recommends that I go to a home with older children due to my sharp puppy teeth. I am neutered, micro-chipped and have had my shots. If you think we'd be a good match and would like to meet me please submit your application now.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Painter - Adoption Pending, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
