SWEET RAMBO's Story...
THIS IS SWEET RAMBO....and he is a lover, not a fighter...and he is voracious about life!! Now that Rambo has attended Custom Dog Training Boot Camp, he is ready to win your heart!!! He has learned many commands and is socialized with other dogs. He comes with private training sessions in your home. This is a fantastic dog....

A 22 lb, tan/white, 1.5 yr old Lhasa Apso, Rambo tries to be macho but then he kisses you until you are soaking wet...he plays with his toys like there is no tomorrow (and he even fetches and returns!!) and cuddles so sweetly. But, we think his life before LHH was not happy. He came to us a matted, dirty, flea infested mess, and while he appears to be housetrained (with outside access), he looked like he was an outside dog. Rambo was aggressive with other dogs, but we could tell he wanted to like them. Most likely he was previously attacked by one or more (as the right side of his face seems like it was slightly injured at some time). But, we wanted Rambo to be the best dog he could be, so we sent him to doggie bootcamp and he has learned 15 commands and can now be comfortably integrated into a home setting and is fine other dogs. He loves to run, and is very athletic. He would be great in a home with a single person who loves to bike, hike, run or just be out and about having fun!! He deserves a happy life and we're going to make sure he gets one. He does need a home where they will be consistent with his training and make sure he stays the wonderful, obedient dog that he has become. He's stubborn sometimes....but he will be your best friend if you let him. He is not and never has been aggressive with people. Handsome, strong and safe....and very VERY loyal...that's our boy!! No kids...only because he needs a boss, not a sibbling!! Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag! Thanks for thinking rescue and adoption!!

Come see this pup at one of our adoptions events, either at My Pet Naturally (see calendar for event dates)....or on Sunday in Brentwood (near Los Angeles) at the Farmer's Market or at a special event we may be doing. Check our Events Calendar for more information! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Why Adoption is a Great Option

SWEET RAMBO, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
