Jake's Story...
Jake-Shepard/Rottie mix male puppy

Jake is an older puppy, about 5-6 mo. old now. Found recently in a high kill rural shelter but some
nice ladies who had came in to Rescue cats. They heard that Jake's days were numbered and couldn't bear the thought of him losing his life before it had hardly began. One volunteered to be his foster mom while the Rescue looked for a new family for Jake. He's been good with the other dogs and children. Working on his house training.

Jake's adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Germantown Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
