Kerry's Story...
Kerry

Est. DOB: August 11, 2012
Description: DSH Black and White
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Kerry is a debonair black and white fellow with an all-black nose and a hint of a moustache. Kerry is a super lovebug and likes to sleep with his foster mom, whether it’s bed time or she’s working on the computer, Kerry will sleep near his foster mom. Kerry and his siblings are quite funny when they have their play mice, as they growl at each other (“my mouse, don’t take it!”). Kerry is high energy and chasing and thinks being chased by his siblings is quite fun! Kerry has been around other cats and kittens.

The K-2012 kittens were found on a lawn as 4-week old kittens and taken to a local veterinarian clinic who contacted Alley Cats and Angels to take them in.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kerry, a Apex Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
