Malcom "Mal"'s Story...
Malcolm

Est. DOB: August 8, 2012
Description: DMH Cream and White
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Malcolm is a beautiful boy with a very sweet disposition. He’s respectful of adult cats in his foster home and affectionate with humans. He loves to play with his foster siblings and has lots of energy. Malcolm really enjoys chasing toy mice and fluttery toys and loves hanging out at the vet top of the cat tree!

In one of his foster homes Malcolm was with a large, active dog as well as elementary age children and did well.

Malcolm and his siblings were found in a crawl space by an exterminator and bottle fed by Alley Cats and Angels volunteers.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malcom "Mal", a Apex Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
