Kaylee's Story...
Kaylee

Est. DOB: August 8, 2012
Description: DSH Tabbico
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Kaylee is an adorable little girl with an abundance of personality. She's very outgoing and independent and likes to be involved with everything going on in the house. Kaylee would probably like to have a kitty friend to help her expend all of her energy.

Kaylee has a little bit of kitty acne on her chin but has seen a vet and will outgrow this as she gets older. Yes, even kitties can get pimples!

Kaylee and her siblings were found in a crawl space by an exterminator and bottle fed by Alley Cats and Angels volunteers.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaylee, a Apex Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
