Hi, I'm Salsa, and I am a beauty queen. I am also hilarious. I LOVE having my belly scratched, and will come find you and flop down in front of you when I've decided it's time for you to scratch my belly. I also like to stand on my hind legs when you are preparing my food dish to show you how excited I am! Apparently doing that is "weird" or "funny," so my foster mom started timing me...the longest she's timed me doing it is 15 seconds. She was so excited. Humans!

If I fall in love with you, the depth of my smitten-ness with you has no bounds. I will want to kiss you all of the time and nuzzle you as much as possible. When you come home at the end of the day, I will run to the door to greet you. My sister Soda and I are the best of friends, and we need to always be together. We love playing with each other and sleeping next to each other. She's really shy and nervous around new people or when there are lots of noises, so I protect her. We wouldn't mind living with other cats, or even a dog (I once kind of made friends with a golden retriever! He was cute!) but not kids. I once met a couple of kids and I really didn't like them too much, plus my sister Soda was super-scared and I don't like it when she gets so scared.

My favorite thing in the world... besides my sister and my humans... definitely, paws down, hair elastics. I collect them (you can try, but good luck hiding them from me!), and store them in strange unpredictable places. Then, when I'm ready to play, I take them out and go crazy with them! I also really like grooming myself and being brushed. It's a lot of work to get long fur this soft and silky! Since I'm so meticulous I shed a lot less than you'd expect me to. I like it best when the fuzzy curlicues that grow out of my ears and between my toes are just right.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Salsa, a Vancouver Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
