CC's Story...
Blue, CC, Peaches and Tabitha are a family of beautiful, cuddly, sweet, outgoing, and playful three-month-old kittens looking for a loving guardian – preferably in pairs. Blue is the only male in the litter. He is a blue and white tuxedo with gorgeous golden eyes and a fun playful personality. CC is an almost all white cat with calico markings; she is very outgoing and playful. Peaches is a patch tabby/calico who is super cuddly, talkative and sweet. Tabitha is a tortoise/tabby mix with a friendly personality with people as well as other cats. All the kittens are full of purrs and love for everyone they meet. They would love to be adopted in pairs, or to a household with another young cat to play with … none of these kittens have ever met a dog. They use their litter boxes and scratching posts like good kittens. They are healthy, spayed/neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, micro-chipped, and virus-tested. To meet and possibly adopt any of these kittens please contact their foster mom Terri at or 224-725-0960. Their adoption fee of $125 each benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. They are being fostered in Evanston, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CC, a Chicago Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
