Lizzy Lou's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lizzy Lou's Story...
I am 11 weeks old. I am rat terrier and most likely dachsund. (Mom is a 15 lb tri-colored rat terrier) I have had my first shots/worming. I am potty pad trained so far. My mom and my litter (4 of us) were rescued from a high kill shelter where we were going to be killed at 5 days old. I am ready for my new home. I am a sweet little bitty girl (the runt) that loves to give kisses and sit in your lap... all day if you would let me! I am being fostered in Lake Helen, Fl. There is an application process (which includes checking with landlord if you rent and a vet check) An adoption fee of $100 that covers me getting the remainder of my shots and spaying. If you are interested in meeting me you can email my foster mom at homes4paws@gmail.com or call 386-717-1123

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizzy Lou, a Daytona Beach Rat Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Daytona Beach, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Daytona Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Daytona Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Daytona Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Daytona Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
