Cha Cha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Cha Cha's Story...
Cha Cha (and her pal Pepe) are a bonded doxy pair that were abandoned in a room that was being rented. The landlord could not keep so to the pound they were bound. They were rescued by one of our volunteers and they are looking for their forever home. These 2 are very bonded but do not have to be adopted together. Cha Cha is 3 years old and weighs 10 lbs. She is very dominent and territorial when other dogs are around but so sweet when she is alone or with Pepe. She would not do well in a home with small kids. Please visit our website for an online adoption application at www.dogswithoutborders.org and to learn more about our adoption fairs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cha Cha, a Encino Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Encino, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
