Blue's Story...

Hi! My name is Blue and I'm a young guy, just 10 weeks old. I am a light gray and white male tabby kitten and was found all by myself under an abandoned truck in SW Phila. A lady heard me crying for two straight days, but was unable to reach me in the engine. The day before Hurricane Sandy hit, another lady found me on the sidewalk in front of her house and kindly took me in. I was starving, weak, full of fleas, and slept for almost an entire day after eating and getting several baths. The lady's young daughter named me "BlueCat" because of my light-gray coloring which I already answer to! I am still recuperating from several bumps and bruises, as can be seen in the photos, but have received my first distemper vaccine and have been dewormed. I will be neutered and tested for fiv/leukemia prior to being adopted. My foster mommy says I am a very smart and playful little guy! If you would be interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application for me or if you have any questions at all about me, please contact KittyJunction@aol.com!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Horsham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Horsham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Horsham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Horsham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Horsham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Horsham paves the way for another one to be saved.
