Benny's Story...
Hi My name is benny and I am the most adorable FOUR years young, male chihuahua mix weighing ONLY 8 pounds, but my owner is having problems with his landlord so I have to be re homed

I am very loving and playful and love other dogs and going to dog park.

The best place to rub me is my belly.
I love to burrow and tuck myself into bed. I have a burrow bag that I like to hide in, when I'm not lying in the sun!

I don't know how to play fetch but I do like throwing toys around for myself. My favorite is a purple hippo!

I sit and stay for all food and treats. Cucumber is my favorite treat! I also know 'down', 'off', and 'bed'.

Neutered with all up dated shots

Housetrained

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Long Beach Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
