Briar's Story...
Thorn & Briar

Every Rose might have its Thorn but a sweet Mama Rose also had a Briar. Don’t let their names fool you though; there is nothing prickly about this purrfect pair. They are as soft and sweet as can be… These shy little sprouts are wonderful snugglers and are waiting to be picked by you. All these siblings need is a little TLC and they will really blossom in a new forever home… Thorn & Briar are 10 weeks old. If you are interested in meeting Thorn, Briar or other cats/kittens in our care waiting for a home, please call 508-695-4707 (leave a message if need be!). Paws of Plainville, Inc. is dedicated to helping the homeless cats in the local area. We are an all volunteer, nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible and can be sent to P.O. Box 2236, Plainville, MA 02762. For more information, please visit us at www.pawsofplainville.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Briar, a Plainville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
