Meet CRICKET!!
Cricket was found as a stray with a baby puppy in-tow. Apparently, the person that found her took her puppy and left poor Cricket outside to fend for herself. Fortunately, a neighbor took it upon themselves to save Cricket.
She is about 3 yrs old and weighs only about 9 lbs. She is a sweet, loving little girl.
Cricket is truly a "cricket". She is an awesome jumper, and she has a great little spring in her step. She would make an AWESOME agility dog for someone interested.
Cricket is already crate trained, but she loves to burrow into the bedding of your bed or couch. She adores her play toys and most enjoys chasing her ball. She has a ton of energy and would do great in a high energy/active home.
She does great at the dog park and is awesome with other dogs. She is good with cats, but does want to play with them too. Cricket already walks well on leash and is a great running partner. Although full of energy she will curl up into a tiny little cuddleball at bedtime. She is truly a precious little girl.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.
We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.
Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
We attend multiple adoption events throughout the valley during Spring and Fall.
All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives.
Underdog's Adoption Fees are as follows:
Dogs: Puppy - 8 yrs: $150.00
Seniors (8+ years): $125.00
