Meow! My name is Ellicat
Important Note: Ellicat is best friends with Lizzy. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Orange Or Red Tabby||Age:||Adult|
I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hello,I'm Ellicat, short for Elliot the Big Cat. I'm a huge handsome guy, a deep orange tabby with white bib and paws.
I came here because my household was just a little too busy for me and my guardians scared me at times. I'm a pretty sensitive guy and enjoy my peace and quiet. I'd likely be your best office cat ever, gently helping you all day.
I've learned to trust people again and now I really bond to my favorite person, to the point of wanting to touch them even when we sleep. I would be a great cat for someone who wants a constant companion. I even like to have my tummy rubbed now! It would be best if I went to a home without small children.
Even though I'm a senior, I still love to play like a kitten. I love pipe cleaners and string toys the best.
I can be adopted for $75, which includes my virus testing plus normal vet work, food & litter starter kits, a month of health insurance and a free vet visit voucher each. If you come meet me, I'll show you my favorite toys!
More information about Happy Cats Haven
Because we know and love each and every cat and kitten here, we can help you make the best possible choice when it comes to finding a cat. Our home-like setting not only puts the cats at ease, but it provides a pleasant, relaxing environment for you to choose your next best cat ever. A good match means a wonderful forever home so your kitten or cat never has to see the inside of a shelter again. We also provide lifelong behavior care and referrals to keep our cats and kittens at hom.
We make every effort to keep up with current feline research and best practices in order to keep our standards high and our cats and kittens healthy and happy.
What makes HCH different from other shelters?
A purr is more subtle than a wagging tail. Cats sometimes need a little help to bring out their best sides, especially with the trauma of losing their homes. We focus on the special needs of cats in shelters, creating a cage-free feline-friendly space that best promotes each cat’s individual personality. This also makes us more human friendly too, giving you a comfortable environment to make your best match possible.
Why open another cat shelter?
Around 9 out of 10 dogs in shelters find a home. For cats, it’s only 1 out of 3. We’d like to put a dent in those horrific statistics by showing people what great companions cats can be. We also spay and neuter each cat to help reduce the kitten explosion that leads to nearly 5,000 cat and kitten euthanasias a year in the Pikes Peak region alone.

Our adult cats are $95, which includes their FIV/FeLV testing, spay/neuter, microchip, vaccination (except rabies), a month of free insurance, food & litter starter kit and a free vet visit voucher. Seniors and other special needs cats include the same signing bonus and are $80. Our kittens are $125 for those over 6 months and $140 for those under, including the same package.
