Jinx V's Story...
Moved to adopted status 5/25/2014
Jinx is a DSH black neutered male. Born May 2012

Jinx and his litter mates were rescued off the animal control truck when they were around 4 wks old. He is a little on the shy side, but he does like his tummy rubbed. He is very playful and very loving once he feels safe. Can be a bit of a talker. He does drool when he purrs... so watch out! He has a problem with one of his knees, so sometimes he will walk funny. That does not stop him from running around the house like a wild man! He is able to leap a tall cat posts in a single bound! He is being fostered with other cats. He also is being fostered with a dog, which he likes very much.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jinx V, a Sacramento Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
