My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ozymandias
2-3 year old Male Snow Bengal

COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the cat's health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Just look at that face. Can you just imagine Osymandias (Ozzy for short) living with you? If so then this is what you can expect. Ozzy needs lots of human attention and interactive play. Bengals are very intelligent and can be taught the rules, but remember they are Bengals first. Ozzy is a fun, super active boy who loves to play and explore, more like a kitten than an adult. His explorations can take him to the "high ground" places in your home, like the tops of cabinets and kitchen counters. Cherished possessions won't stand up to a Bengal. Ozzy gets the "Zoomies" several times a day and runs through the house bouncing off things (including human bodies if you're not careful) for 10-15 minutes before he settles a bit. Some Bengal owners say setting up regular play sessions with their Bengals helps avoid this behavior. Ozzy is also very vocal and will love to talk with you and is very affectionate. Although not a lap cat, he will want to sleep straight through the night at the foot of your bed or snuggled close to you under the covers when it gets chilly.

Ozzy is fine with cat-friendly dogs, but may take some time to adapt to other cats. He has shown no aggression to his foster moms cats, but they do not like him. Bengals are hybrid cats and their lively personality requires the level of time and training more often associated with adopting a dog. If you are willing to make this kind of commitment, you will find Ozzy an endlessly entertaining addition to your home! Indoor Home ONLY! Ozzy's foster mom has taken care of basic vetting and he is altered.

Ozzy is fostered in the Sacramento area. For more information on Ozzy, contact Karen.
