Meet Tyco! He is a tiny 2 to 3 year old male Chihuahua who weighs 4.9 lbs. Tyco was rescued after a good Samaritan witnessed Tyco being tossed out the window of a moving car. She found little Tyco hiding and shaking in some nearby bushes. Tyco is an extremely loyal boy and he would of followed whoever was trying to abandon him had they not sped away. We are guessing this is exactly why they choose this toss and speed away method of abandonment.
Tyco is a sweet lovable boy who will follow you around the house and wag his tail when he sees you. He gives gentle kisses, he loves belly rubs and he loves to cuddle in close to watch tv with his person. He loves to be held and loved on. Tyco loves having a person to trust and to call his own and he is devoted and bonded to that person. His house manners are wonderful and he is a calm easy boy. He is a quiet dog and is fully housebroken. Tyco will use our very large dog door to let himself out for potty breaks.
Tyco gets along great with other dogs both big and small and loves to cuddle with them. He loves car rides and going for walks. He also comes along with the big dogs when we go hiking. He trots along and proves his loyalty by staying right by my side. We think Tyco would be best suited for a home that already has another dog.
We are sure Tyco’s abuser was a male because Tyco is frightened of all males. He is not aggressive at all…just frightened and worried about his safety if a male enters the room. Because of this we feel its best for Tyco to go to a female only home with no children. We realize that even female only homes will have male visitors but at least Tyco can be put in a bedroom where he feels safe.
Tyco is neutered, microchipped, rabies, dewormed and up to date on his vaccinations. If you would like to meet Tyco please contact Theresa at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999.
