Sadie-URGENT's Story...
Meet Sadie! She is an older dog, guessing at 5 years plus. She is also a very healthy girl at 60 - 70 lbs mixed breed female. Her owner died several years ago of cancer, relatives just released her from her fenced in area to fend for herself. She is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs and possibly cats because her former owner had cats also. Not sure if she is housebroken, she loves people and children but due to her size would do better with older children. She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. Heartworm negative and on preventative. Apply today and give this sweet girl the forever home she needs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie-URGENT, a Southern Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Southern, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Southern.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southern already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southern breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southern paves the way for another one to be saved.
